Objective
To provide managers with a process and the essential skills to ensure that recruitment is successful
By the end of the workshop, managers will be able to :-
- List / Explain the benefits getting recruitment right first time.
- To define a candidate profile for a role they may be recruiting for in the future &Identify the critical competencies and personal spec required for the role
- Explain and demonstrate the principles of short listing candidates, recognising critical requirements from a CV and job application.
- Identify appropriate questions that should be asked at interview
- Demonstrate the correct use of questioning techniques in order to asses potential candidates level of competency.
- Explain the employment law implications that need to be considered during recruitment and questions you can or cannot ask.
- Explain the process for recruitment
- Explain the process for probation and induction.
- Produce an induction / probation plan for a potential new recruit
